Decision to recall Younus Khan -GOOD NEWS!! Empty Decision to recall Younus Khan -GOOD NEWS!!

KARACHI: Following the dismal performance by Pakistan cricket team in test matches against England, the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) top management has decided to finally give Younus Khan the green-signal to return, The Sports Encounter has learnt.

Sources in the PBC told TSE scribe in England that decision to recall Younus Khan in the five-match One Day Internationals series was taken in the meeting between skipper Shahid Afridi and team manager Yawar Saeed.

Important decisions were taken in the meeting during which Shahid Afridi showed an aggressive body language to make team management accept most of his demands.

Afridi wanted to have services of Younus Khan in the ODI team as he showed distrust on a group of players involved in match fixing.

It is important to mention here that Shahid Afridi had told the team management during the ICC World Twenty20 in West Indies that there is a certain group of players who are involved in match fixing, spot fixing, and fancy fixing.

He had also mentioned the names of brother bookies, Mazhar Majeed and Azhar Majeed, and urged the team management to ask players to part ways with these two bookies.

Pakistan lost at least two matches in that competition in dramatic ways which looked saved for them. The Super Eights game against New Zealand and semi-final clash against Australia are the two games that are under scanner of possibilities of match fixing.

Younus Khan, 32, has not played for Pakistan since February this year after the Board decided to send him to Australia for the One-Day Series, but he had withdrawn his name citing personal reasons.
